I want to buy supporter credits but if we exchange euro to Tl(turkish lira), 1 euro is equal to 6.5 lira. If i want to buy a credit for a season(8.5), i have to pay 65 lira. It doesn't seems much for a season but for a year almost 325 lira and it is much for me cause i am a student ( yes if i don't have money i shouldn't support gpro or smh). People from turkey are not buying credits mostly because of the price. 30 tl is really attractive to buy, and i believe gpro would be happy with much more supporter.Regional pricing let more people to buy credits. Is there any possibility to make this?

The price of supporter credit's are made the same, so the GPRO would get the same amount no matter from which country you buy. For some it might be cheaper than they average salary, for some very expensive, even for one season.
Look at it from other perspective, if you make it cheaper by country, someone will find a way to exploit it, like with VPN, change his IP from another country and just buy credit's at a way cheaper rate and if everyone would start to do it, the GPRO would get less, than they intended.

Yeah i never thought that. But they can find a solution for this, some of game platforms are using regional pricing and they prevent game from that swindlers.

There is no way to find a solution to what he mentioned, as it's very easy to do it

That would mean lot of work... No more transfer from manager to manager and have to buy only with credit card or something like that... Registred address and control of it... Would lose probably more players and supporters then now...
It would be pointless to ask all that data for supporting... It's not buying of service or a game.

To these perfect explanations I would like to add, that you can get also Supporter Credits for free. Please check out /gb/InviteFriend.asp
It is a perfect win-win-situation. You get some free credits and we (hopefully) some dedicated players. The top referrers managed meanwhile to grab supporter credits worth over 100 Euros each.

Yeah, its' true, i can confirm that ... BUT i'm still disappointed with that only 5 from my 387 are "still in game" and my $$ counters stops, and i'm not able to change it :D

About 3.5k days have passed since Bronek joined, and with an arbitrary average of 50 registrations a day that'd be 175k new users since.
Apply the 5/387 Bronek-friend-multiplier and we should have 2.5k of those left.
With 7k active racers last race, i guess the rest is made up of GPRO dinos (pre S18) and their DAs :)

For me, being a supporter doesn't change anything. I do it sometime just to help my team to get the team delivery car. But as many other games online, I think the most successful get their revenue with adds. The fact the supporter doesn't get the adds is not attractive for the advertisers. Another simulation I pay to play, also include adds, but they are on the top or on the side and they are not annoying. GPRO should consider to reduce the price of supporter but also include adds for everyone as long they are not annoying. At the end, what advertisers is looking for is more visibility and the current concept of supporter reduce their visibility.

Imo the price is too high when buying credits.
|
|
|
@Jean: having both those revenue streams (ad & in-app, or in-game, purchase to disable the ads) is a very common scenario.
Whilst it may be true that ads are seen less, and ad revenue will thus be lower, the total revenue - when combined with the income from supporter credits - is still much higher.
And maybe the price of supporter credits is too high when looking at the benefits in-game... But when combined with the removal of ads while ensuring GPRO with a base income to keep things running smoothly, i think it's a fair price.

I think both sides have valid points. I am a supporter because I realize it has a cost in order to provide the game and the admins should reap some rewards as well.
That being said though I think there could be some more added benefits to the game for those who are supporters. The lack of ads because i am not a supporter is not something that would convince me one way or the other. If it was a choice of seeing ads and supporter credits being less costly I would go that route for sure.

Thanks Stefan but i am the only one who loves F1 and management games around here. I don't have anyone to invite. But you can think regional pricing or cheaper credits :) or another way to win some credits.

It's quite simple really. You've just got to win the Elite championship :)

Or win the Elite Betting Game Or win Max's Top 10
both of which are open each season to all managers.....

Personally 1-to keep data (and i develop go now, don't need it) 2-to not have adds 3-to support the game !

As I heard all the money from support credits are going to Flo's new boobs. I don't know if it's true, but there is my motivation for being a supporter.

Check. I pay for my credits with paysafecard bought with cash. There's plenty of data on the web already.
Next time I'll wait until there is a sale again though :) That Chrismas special was nice.
