The break between seasons is necessary more?

It's a lot of time since I have noticed that many players that are getting tired of the game are finally leaving it. And so happens in my team as well. And either did good players from the elite group.
Have you ever thaught about it? Why does it happen?
I think that the answer is very simple.
People can't rest.And the Holiday option doesn't solve the problem.
But if there were a couple of long term breaks, the players already missing much the game process would be looking forward to battling again.
Please consider my proposal.
I put it in the main topic as I consider it very important.

Generally, in other games I play, those that go on extended breaks don't come back.
Keeping the interest in the game is what is required and having longer breaks won't achieve that.

You're talking as if people are playing GPRO as a career and that they would plan they're holiday around the season break.
I think the system is fine as it is. People will get bored of playing whatever the case a 2 week break won't solve that.

I agree, people tend to leave either because they lost interest in the game, or due to real life issues, and I don`t think longer breaks will fix that.

My vote for 'break between seasons: Once a year (in the summer)'.
Also, I propose 1 week break in a middle of season (for example, between 9th and 10th races).

And how much time it takes you to get prepared for the next race?((Posts in the team forum, collecting data, sharing data, etc...)
It depends on how serious you take it. For me it takes much time and there are moments when I run out of time. So it tires me a lot.
And such a break would be just wanderful.

bah,after race 17 I say,"wehn can race 1" and you say we need to wait longer :D

I'm afraid that if the break was longer than now, it would be harder to get startet again. People would find another game, similar to this. And if I need a holiday, I would let my cousin or another friend from the game take care of my account.
So I say, Leave it as it is now

I agree that a break of 2-3 weeks in the Summer is a good idea and a relaxing break especially the Xmas break can do us all very well.
Some of us do have family commitments and I think it would be appreciated if such a break was implemented to keep both sides of the coin happy.
It's great playing GPRO and turn around times between seasons are very quick & all managers enjoy it & a great job is been done by the administrators.
However during the summer time one always gets a lot of Holiday account requests for guys who have family commitments and so forth and I think personally for the administrators it can give time for the new year to do greater things for GPRO.
Well done to the one who suggested this idea. I support it as well

I wouldnt want longer breaks, not sure the forums could take it either.
However, I would have liked to see a small break between xmas and newyear.

I would shorten the break.
R17 on a Friday.
End of season script on Monday.
Staff markets Wednesday and Thursday.
R1 Friday.

How come if we disagree we are called conservative. If it's a good idea, and there are many, I whole heartedly support it, but this is terrible in my opinion...
I'd rather have no season break or a shorter one. Longer breaks tend to make people forget and quit. It's not conservative it's just disagreeing with you. that's just how I see it.
Oh and I am married and have two kids so that's no argument either...

I think new players would loose interest if the season break was any longer. It's always sad when a game looses long time players but it's just the nature of the beast unfortunately, as it is with all online games. What we can't have is no new players coming in to replace them.

Yes and your suggestion is fine. I disagree with you which is also fine. But then you tell me that because I disagree with you I am conservative, which is an insult in my opinion. That's why I responded again and now for the third and last time.
Calling someone conservative because they disagree with you is a non-argument and if you can't accept people disagreeing with you perhaps you shouldn't post polls

I think there should be an annual 1-2 week break, but don't mind when.

Anatoli I have children and family but define when a 'summer' break would be. My summer is an Ozzie's winter etc etc.
It's a global game and would be inherently difficult to implement and keep everyone happy.
Account sitting is there for a reason. I play another game where I don't have the option of account sitting and I can't access via a mobile. Hey the rough and the smooth. At the same time I just got back from 8 days away and a member of my team looked after my account here for the whole time.

1) Bad idea, people will get bored between seasons and probably leave.
2) This should be in the Suggestions forum no matter how important it is.
3) The poll is a bit unnecessary, thumbs and replies show what the public think of a suggestion IMO.
