Just some friendly advice for people.
If you want long term success. I.e attempt to make it to elite. You need to plan your whole account if you neglect 1 or 2 areas you'll fail in doing anything in master and elite.
For anyone maybe on the cusp of achieving pro glory or retaining in master.
Id suggest plan your full season. Decide on driver training or older spa push driver. But plan the driver throughout his OA journey and what tier you'll be in.
Then look at your sponsors. When to bring them in so you won't lose them due to bad results etc. Have your staff and facilities as sufficient levels.
1 area people fail is they don't test. Testing ccps are quite important to balance the car during races. Do all this sufficiently and you won't have 100s of millions. Money can be invested somewhere and if you have anything over 50m at the end of the season then bonus really.
This is just my advice. Obviously this game should be fun.
If anyone does want any tips then ask Pedro and if he fails to help ill see if I can give you some help lol. In all seriousness just drop me a PM and I'll give pointers to anyone asking the right questions.

Keeney is spot on with a lot of that advice, guys in my team structure in Master and Elite have that adopted that 'planning philosophy'
it has taken me a few seasons to buy into it, because I am old and stubborn...lol...and my patience for planning is an 'elusive' concept at times....LOL...but there are definite benefits...testing being one of them.. ;-)
edit: testing definitely makes PHA matching easier...

How did everyone know this would be a one stop race? All the past data I have pointed to the rain stopping around 20-25 and this would mean that the dry tyre couldn’t do 45 laps, so a 2 stop was the way to go, yet all the front runners did a 1 stop??

Its a lottery Andy.
Although people would assume the rain would stop at a certain point. The experience lot would always fuel for a lengthy time as you don't know when it would stop. So you fuel for as long as possible sometimes and hope your competitors stop before the weather change.
If it has stopped around lap 25 you'd arguably gain as you would have qualified on a lot less fuel. Its a pure gamble in the rain. You can make educated guesses but it doesn't always go to plan. So what the lotto tell us is who the gamblers are and who the sensible ones are in theory 😉

Yeah I understand the luck element, I fuelled for upton35 laps initially which worked out perfectly, it was the stint on the dry tyres that puzzled me as I didn’t think it was possible to run 35 laps on the same set of tyres, I need to check my data again. Thanks

Ah right.
Yeah again. That depends on luck. Arguably in some instances if someone had fuelled 18/18 at the end on say xs if it was possible then they'd be laughing. But rain races sucks as it involves very little strategy. Pointless races. Esp the lotto races.

I checked my calcs again and I could have done 40 laps on the dry tyre, I just chose no too, so fair play to those who guessed correctly.
Another lottery race this time out too, wonderful!!

These lottery races are enough to drive people away, complete bull. You plan you whole season for the last 3 races and the first 2 a lotteries. At least this one is dry (cue the random lol)

Pedro was superfast, but in Master he will have problems with money balance. Hopehe have one season more contract with his fast driver, it could help.
I will hang on here still at least two season then maybe ready for master. See you guys in there.

Can only disagree with the comment cash. With no disrespect due I think you need to analyse the game more. Infrastructure is king not cash. Hes losing his driver of course.
Pedro has unreal staff and facilities. Amazing car level and ccps from testing. Hes been faster than 90% of masters this season in pro.
He'll simply pay more for a dricer and he'll smash master and relegate back to pro strong.

Thanks all. Great season and came up against an unreal opponent in Pedro.
2 major differences is I take a driver to take to elite and he takes the title and 160 points. I mean that is unreal achievement considering.
Really good team and manager.
Props to Guiseppe. Thought he may even pip me for 2nd at one point.
3 managers over 100 points. Didnt leave many for the rest.

Hi Pro-24,
It's great to finally have reached Pro level, it is my first time that I will compete at this level and I'm really looking forward to it. As I did understand from a few team members the game does only start now, so I can't wait to give it my best shot.
I don't expect to fight for the prices this season already, because I'm not sure yet what I will do with my current driver. But one thing is for sure ... that I will have a lot of fun.
Good luck to all, I really do hope that everybody can reach his/her objectifs. And don't forget to enjoy the game !!

Mark will be missed for sure. I didn't know him that well because we did only exchange a few mails with each other when I was new in the game.
I was on the search of a friendly team where I could learn all the ins and outs of this great game, and although there was no free spot available Mark did bother to give me a few good tips concerning the game. It helped me to have a great start of my carreer.
If I do see the amount of friendly comments about Mark on the forum, I do think that is safe to say that this is how Mark was a person. always ready to help someone else.
