I'm too drunk to read but to play Grand Prix world you need Dos emulator. DOSBOX is good.

For me this is still the best F1 management game. High hopes on Motorsport Manager though :)
The only thing that really annoyed me in GPW was the “Team Orders” bug. If the 2nd driver is 1 lap ahead of 1st driver, he’ll just slow down until the 1st driver overtakes him.
Does anyone know how to fix this? (apart from having no Team orders :) )

I used to hammer the shit out of this game. Can't say I ever had the situation where my no. 2 driver was a lap ahead of the no.1 driver. Sack the no.1 driver for being so slow :)

Ok that´s an alternative :) But what if the 2nd drivers is in front of the 1st because the 1st went to the pits? ... then the 2nd driver just waits for the 1st driver :|
I remember making sure the 2nd driver went to pits first... but there's always a mechanical problem (aka random :) ) or such that ruined my 1st / 2nd driver team orders.

My game just randomly crashes,which totally sucks..
Stuart F got me hooked on this game. Im almost angry that they wont release a console version of an f1 manager game. Perhaps codemasters could do a DLC(wishful i know)
Makes me think how popular Gpro would be with a graphically appealing race screen. Meh,one can hope.

Anyone ever had success with Tyrrell or Minardi in this? Got back into playing it this week on a Virtual Machine, have to say it's super fun. It's easy with pretty much every team to get a few championship wins except for these two boys above. :o

I always found Arrows the best team, quite a decent budget and nice challenge. You can make them into a Force India type team as long as you make good economic choices.
There is a walkthrough I read for making Minardi a top 4 team. I'll see if I can find it.

I recall I did with Tyrrell in the original days of playing it on desktop PC.

Pedro Diniz OP. Perfect 2nd driver for any team, simply because he finances you so much while still being somewhat decent.

Managed it myself with minardi and tyrrell multiple times. Even challenged myself to win the DC and CC without a team sponsor with minardi.....and suceeded ;) I've recently started a new season with minardi, seeing how fast I can get to a championship win, will try to keep you posted.

I love this game :)
Tyrell is easier than Minardi, as Mike Gascognye is a 3 star designer and as long as you renew his contract you will have a decent car
Prost is a cash cow. Engine works (Peugeot) and Team sponsor (Blondes)

Im playing with Jordan. 2001 champion with Mika Häkkinen :) In 2002 I suspect Ralf Schumacher will be champion but Im not yet done with the season
Im having 4 or 5 star staff too, Fully upgraded facilities

I didn’t even knew this game existed. Even if I played GPM2.
Downloaded it and started a career with Manor (2014 season). So far after 4 races I’m P8 having scored twice. Had to watch a YouTube video to learn how to play.

Never added here that this game is very basic and you get it quite fast. Once you sign a team sponsor its impossblel to loose.
I think we are now in a big data era where a better GP management game against an IA should be created.

Try to do it as Minardi :)
It took me 5 years to score first point and 6 to win first race.

I started a career with Benetton :) Quite fun and really good resources :)
I managed to re-sign Playlife, and got Ferrari, Bridegestone and Shell Works contract.
For 1999 I signed Damon Hill and kept Fisichella. Actually won 2 races in 1998 :)

Start a career with Minardi. Get back to me if you score point sooner than your 4th season. its proper tough to begin with you're just putting out fires for the first 2 seasons. Signing drivers for season 2 alone will have you pulling your hair out.

Im getting points season 3 or 4
I had an outing a few months ago and the career never seemed to take off. No team sponsors, good staff etc. But its always fun :)
