- I thing it's absolutely Necessary to Have on LIVE BOARD of the running Race a New Bar With the Driver Energy condition at every lap, like Fuel & Tyres.!!! (personal of course)
- Good Day to all from beautiful Sithonia/Chalkidiki/Greece.!!!

It's a good idea for sure, provided of course it's only your own drivers energy that you see dwindling away :)
E : Interesting that the Poll has more responses than use of thumbs - 25 compared to just 8 thumbs :p

As I do. A poll though is to give an answer, not just like or dislike something.

I'm not bothered either way by the bar, but I would like to see on the race analysis page, if you do run out of energy, which lap it ran out.
I don't see why you shouldn't get the energy use data just because you run it to 0.

47 vs 14 :)

Yes, I mentioned this on Jan 11th (Quixotic press), would be good.
Quote ( Max Watson @ January 11th 2017,10:32:55 ) 2) Driver energy should be shown during the race, like tyre wear and fuel, so to make it more exciting to see if one reaches zero or not.

Why ?
I think it's absolutely NOT necessary to have it, actually it's preferred to not have it. (and here's my "why")
Showing a constantly updating bar for it would take away the excitement and suspense the energy feature has brought into the race.
My point is: The energy awoke some of the excitement of watching the race (will energy last or not), IF an energy bar is introduced you could see from the first few laps if the energy lasts or not.
Therefore it would nullify the effect and as such should not be shown
And before you (or someone) compares it to tyres and/or fuel, let's remember that runnning out of energy does not induce extra pitstops. It's preferred to have tyre/fuel info on screen so people do not wonder why their car went to pit

For example i don't care about the thumbs :)

IMHO having such data there would be too revealing and without it also being shown in the race analysis page would provide an unfair advantage. So I don't think it will happen.

Good idea, Ioannis.

If it has been one of these keyboard warriors/Trolls you see here, and there and everywhere on this forum, I would probably have given the guy a thumb down and voted yes to the suggestion, because I dislike the person.
But because it came from a guy I like and believe is a nice person, he get both thumb up and a yes to the Poll

I would prefer Energy to be something to be worked out, so no from me.

Yeah, and if he were an Aussie, tt'd be a stubbie in one hand and thumbs up from the other Paul Hogan style.
Anyhow and given that Energy is a factor in the game, it'd just add extra interest if it was shown as part of the live race. It's no different to having to work out fuel burn and tyre use anyway so shouldn't detract from the game.

It's a very good IDEA! :D

- Dear Mikko, F1 is absolutely Mathematics.!!! ...but the Secrets Are between the Teams, Managers, opponents.!!! ...not from our-selfs.!!!! ...F1 its not a gabling to win Gifts surprise in a lap.!!!
- Sorry but I want to Know all my data at every moment.!!! :)

Voted yes but want to change my mind on the back of Nikko's post #9. Makes perfect sense why not to have it on race screen.

Might as well have the situation that if a driver reaches zero energy he crashes out of the race...... A bit like a diabetic who runs out of blood sugar..... And goes into a coma !!
I don't agree with energy, never have, I don't see what it adds to the racing. It's not realistic and you just keep changing the game when people supposedly get " boring" racing.
Voted yes, but not really bothered either way.

"It adds more to the excitement of the race" Pah !
Sorry, thought I was editing when I quoted :(

I don't think energy bar would be good or make any sense... Maybe your driver could comment when he is getting tired but this you can see already in the lap times.

Have another one then Rob - if you ever stopped whining about energy, perhaps you might figure out how it works.... ;)

Robert, it's not considered good forum etiquette to announce who dislikes what posts. Actually, I think it;s not allowed even.

C'Mon Guys, lets not get into a bitch fight over a couple of thumbs FFS, LOL
OK, back on Topic. I voted Yes, but it isn't really necessary for the more experienced players. So I personally don't mind if it is or isn't implemented
The main reason I think maybe it should be implemented is for the new players. If they run too high risks & can see their drivers energy vanish very quickly before their eyes, it will make it easier for them to learn by their mistakes, so they can adjust their risks & approach to the next race differently.
If this stops some new players "Spitting the Dummy" & quitting the game, it can only be a good thing IMO

Mate you seriously need a help. This argument is boring because it's too repetitive

This^
An energy bar wouldn't be realistic. We can't tell with precision how much energy we have left everyday unless we are exhausted -- so yeah, the drivers could comment the exact lap which they got tired (but like Martti said, the lap times can tell you when your driver dropped to 0% energy).
Therefore, a bar that tells exactly how much energy a driver is losing per lap would make no sense imo.
The thing is people need to stop whining and, instead, focus on learning about the feature. Just observe patterns it can't be that difficult. It took me 3 or 4 races to find some patterns and less than a season to find out the stats that affect energy loss... And I'm not even highly experienced.
