Quote ( Stuart Foster @ December 22nd 2018,00:03:21 ) Perhaps if there was an overwhelming majority wanting both races then maybe he'd feel a greater need to run them and putting his own holiday time on hold. But given that only 52% wanted both races, that's still 42% that were not keen (taking out those with no opinion). I suppose if I was running a game I'd rather not bother running the races either if there was a significant number that would rather not be racing, and more importantly, if the admins would rather not be around here either. Personally i'm not fussed either way, I've got plenty of things to occupy myself with, as it seems so have 42% of others :)
Actually, if you want to look at numbers in that way... 57% of people wanted to race on xmas and 57% wanted to race on new years.
Only 35% of people actually did not want to race on any one particular day.

7800 managers racing at the moment
1718 wanted to enjoy Christmas and New Year 2925 voted to "spite the holidays" (pretty sure that's what it said, you Grinches) 320+290=610 really wanted to enjoy Christmas and New Year but tried to appease the spiters with one race, or just mis-clicked (it happens) 2187 already too busy enjoying Christmas to vote
1718+610+2187 / 7800 = 57.9% in favour of Christmas + New Year

Is that a hard or soft Christmas and New Year though Roland? lol

Come now, you know full well that not everyone who did not vote would vote for any one particular option.
I could easily say that those who voted for just one race were trying to appear those who wanted to enjoy the holidays ... and that everyone who didn't vote was too busy racing to vote.
2925+610+2187 / 7800 = 73% actually wanted to continue racing.
Now let's both go get jobs working for the government gathering statistics and counting votes ay?

Only, if we LET them control the population. Ioannis, you should be less dour during the Christmas season. We know that there is nothing to be done with these madmen.

Quote ( Jas Fraser @ December 21st 2018,15:36:46 ) Hi, I've just realized that we miss 2 race days because of a time of giving!
But you won't actually miss 2 races, the season is still 17 races.
Some might actually gain 2 races, since there is less conflict in time-tables of real life and GPRO.

A year and a half later.....I'm not bitter. Just sayin though if we had of raced it's 2 more races we'd have done by now. For the record I had a great Christmas and I hope everyone else did too. It's a great game and if management says yes/no/whatever I'm in.

I have to agree, it really doesn't feel like Christmas right now.

What I meant by missing was the next season would have started a week earlier and as of right now we'd (us bludgers that live for gpro that is) all have raced 2 extra races than we have. I hope this year works well though next clash of dates hopefully someone steps up and organises a race for the bored and lonely over x-mas . Maybe like Mark said, a little Christmas 2 race league..... lol, if I could do it for us I would but I'd make it so I win so someone else has to.

There is a link for "holiday setting", meant to be used by those not being able to participate due to their Holidays, right?
But there is no "race anyway" button for those who wanted to race during the Christmas holidays. hence, the ability to race normally was taken away, at the time for giving and at time where there sometimes is feck all to do for many people. For many of those living alone... Christmas is boring.
Hence, most arguments for "we should have peace and no racing at Christmas", applies only to those interested in Christmas related stuff.... And they are only speaking for them selves. Get a teammate, a friend or someone else to do the setup, if you are not interested to/can't do it yourself, over Christmas. But let those who want status quo, race as normal.
But, for the Staff to get a well deserved break over Christmas, I can relate to and I accept that argument with no quarrels! :)

I noticed races are scheduled for the 25th of dec and a week later on the new year. Does that mean we're getting to race for X-mas AND on the 1st ?
if we got 2 races on both days we'd recover our loss. ;-P
