Looking at testing times, after my adjustments,

-Leclerc set a faster time than Vettel by two tenths.
-Gasly was nine tenths faster than Verstappen.
-Stroll was four tenths faster than Perez.
-Raikkonen was three tenths faster than Giovinazzi.
-Sainz was two tenths faster than norris.
-Kvyat was two tenths faster than Albon.

I have adjusted the data for tyres, and horizontaly, but not for fuel (as I don't know fuel loads). Last year, this method correctly placed seven of the costructors, and accuratly predicted eight teammate upsets. However, this year's data was more skewed than last year's data. Read into that as you wish.

Williams (or more specifically, Claire) have their heads stuck in the sand and I think it's been like that for a while now. Relying on doing everything apart from the engine in house just isn't going to cut it anymore, and anyone with any business sense would shut up and become a customer team rather than pray to nostalgia in the hope that willpower equals performance. I mean, if they can't even turn up to testing on time, what makes you think they have the capacity to make a quick car anymore? F1 is all about innovation and Williams have none. They got themselves into this mess, and I wish all the best for Robert and George, but they're probably due a torrid time this year.

Let's hope that they don't mess up Leclerc's races just for vettel to win like they did with kimi. They pretty much had the whole team concentrating on Vettel and kimi was left to do testing in races to see how much their tyres last :P

Officially they are both allowed to race each other equally but of course if vettel is about to win the championship then Leclerc will have to give way

We'll have to wait a few races and review the pit strategies and see if they are made in such a way that consistently helps Vettel. That is the true indicator.

Why do you think they failed miserably in the last two years when the year before Stroll got on the podium the year before that?

Another nail to the coffin.

According to Autosport Paddy Lowe has taken a leave of absence from Williams. This mostly due to being blamed to the delay in their readiness for tesring and the bad results.

It will indeed be torrid for Robert and George

Lol for sure hahaha, is Claire Williams ever going to resign or step down to a lower position or is the team going to go down with her in charge?

Stroll's got no chance against Perez

I disagree. Stroll is a good driver. Yes he has money behind him but he also gas won several junior category the last 5 year's.
