You shrewdly ignored Indy Oval there :P
E: But yeah, I got the point. Super weird way to get the 90% number, but it is what it is.

Last race of 70 laps I've completed 65 laps but got only half the money of 29th place. Did I miss something? It was on lap 69 my car crashed. My group is: A41

My group is: A41 It's clearer on the old viewer. You crashed when the leader started lap 66, while you yourself were 3 laps down already. You finished 8 laps down unfortunately.

When such situations arise, it's usually the manager not taking into account how many laps behind the leader they already were at the time of the dropout.

Correction: it was on lap 68 when I crashed and was almost 4 laps behind the leader. After the leader reached lap 70 he finished the race.

And what has the old viewer got to do with it?
|
|
|
And finally: on the race analysis it is clear I raced 65 laps and not 8 laps down.

It’s definitely confusing, but it appears the race summary is the view to trust on laps completed (and what money paid out is based on).
Not sure what can be done to align the various views, but it’s certainly a head scratcher when there are 64 lap times listed in the race analysis view, but only 62 laps completed in the race summary 🤨

62 laps? The race summary is full of bugs.

There is no bug
You dropped on lap 65 (That is the lap of the leader) but you were 3 laps behind the leader
So you hand only lapped the circuit 62 times.

new race screen shows , that he was still driving when leader was on lap68 🤔

It was on lap 68 I dropped out. I think the summary calculates double of laps behind the leader: 68 -> 65 - > 62. Like I said: full of bugs.

Edit - I originally believed he dropped after he did 65 laps based on this:

So I've been reading this wrong my whole career (since live races) too. Ok, he has a fair point that this is overly confusing. I agree the race was showing lap 68, and that he is 3 laps down, but actually it is 65-3 not 68-3. Hmmm, alienates people for sure.

You abandoned at the end of lap 65 for the leader and you were 3 laps behind.
Go to the old viewer since it is better to see there
At the start of lap 66 you abandoned so you didnt do laps 66,67,68,69,&70 (5 laps) and you were 3 laps behind.
5+3 = 8 laps that is 1 more than 7 that is the 10%
It is totally correct, no bug (imagine for that bug to survive 95 seasons).
the new viewer, has some details to simulate the laps and this one is one of them.
To be really sure you need to look at the old viewer or the race summary, they are easier to read.

So the leader still has to go 5 laps after I dropped out? That is really really really confusing.
|
|
|
In rule 5.3 old viewer is not be named.

I've seen the old viewer and is clearly stated that it is showing to us the laps each driver is racing and not in which lap we currently are. On that point it goes horribly wrong. If there are no bugs on both viewers, then there is no confusion at all.
