On the first race Practice/Q1 is wet and Q2 is dry. Is there any way to test setup for Q2. Dont have any previous data for that track before.

Unfortunately not, you will have to run the race to see if the setup will work.

Currently the test track is wet for this race, so if you have a dry setup for that, you could run some test laps and see how wet setups compare, it may give you some pointers.

If not, try to find a good setup now and compare it with testing session before next race. Just have in mind that this will be costly because of lvl1 parts expected wear.

I was thinking about making a suggestion where the current 8 testing laps before Q1 could be split to 4 laps before Q1 and 4 laps before Q2. It would give more purpose to finding the best setup for the race, instead of a being just a guessing game when one qualifying lap is dry and the other is wet.

I'm guessing it would be "pretty much", or somewhat like real life. Only how much you need to do is a guessing game. Better one big guessing game than two small.

I think that the best way to configure Q2 and the race in a case like this is to take Q1 as a base, adjust the sets to dry and then adapt them to the temperature of Q1. I found formulas for it on Google.

That's what @Florencia Caro (M5) told you to say, right? :-)

Only allowing 4 laps for q1 would be detremental to newer players being able to learn the game. More than 4 laps are needed to find a good setup even with the best of "practice laps to find setup" methods.
