Hasn't been much activity on here for a few days and there doesn't seem to be a new edition, so I will elaborate a bit on my spinoff idea to see what people think. This wouldn't happen immediately as I need to get things set up and I don't have a lot of free time at the moment, but I may as well put it on here to refer back to.
So essentially the rules would be exactly the same apart from a major difference: that submissions must be YouTube clips that would not otherwise qualify for GPROvision on account of the Daniel Bassett rule. I'm planning initially for a single round with otherwise free restrictions on what can be sent, as a trial run.
I do not have a name for this concept yet so if you can give me some suggestions that would be great. My ideas thus far have been Bassettvision, Koenvision, and Mikkovision although I think people can probably do better than that.
I do forsee some potential issues in regards to posting political content, but given that people have sent some pretty controversial songs in the past, I see no reason why it should be a problem so long as it is not brought on to the thread. In any case it is most likely that people will just send what they find funny or interesting and this won't come up.
If you have any other suggestions please let me know, otherwise I will hopefully see you in GPROvision LII.

I think the concept is interesting and I'd give it a shot, but I would kind of expect it to result in a collection of memes. Or maybe that just says a lot about what I use YouTube for haha.

Honestly, I don't love it - as I'd like to try and use songs from my list and none would count for that.
But if others want it, I'm not averse to giving it a go though.

I'll pass. There's two Feeder songs from Gran Turismo 3 that I like and could hope to fit in, but that's about all I'd bring to it.

Awesome. I can already think of some restrictions, we will probably have 4 or 5 rounds (probably 5 to hit that magical number).
Expect a thread to pop up maybe at the end of this week, but could very well be only next week, as there is some prep work to do.
