Terence thanks for selecting me in the team, didn't know that till Daniël told me. If I can give you a bid of advice is that maybe you should PM the guys and ask them their plans for the season, as I'm planning to stay in Ama this season. To achieve that I need to do badly in a few races that will affect the team points.
That said keep me in mind for next season as the plan is to promote so a few wins in Ama will definitely be on in season 75. If you selected me on qualifying times just think what 1 more season of training will do for my driver.

thank you Sheldon with 69 managers currently active in this season it becomes a bit difficult to PM each manager to find out their objective's for the season as the turn around time for PM's are very slow and sometimes no reply's and with this forum not being very private i was wondering if the guys would be interested in creating a whatsapp or skype group " please send me a PM if interested"
this could help our new SA members to share advice/ideas
we are not doing too badly currently in 5th place - but i see canada and germany has selected good teams in the last race goodluck to all for race 3

I suppose a brief post is in order.
I'm still in the process of creating my spreadsheets, which should be done by tomorrow. Then I shall have a more clear view of the national team and whom to keep on a shortlist and whom to select for the national team, as well as whom to contact and hopefully get a reply so I have a more clear picture of their objectives for the current season.
Regardless of the achievements or lack thereof, I will be out after my 2 season term is up and it will then be time for someone else to step in. But more on that after this first season.
Any other issues feel free to message me, which is certainly preferable to discussing matters on an open forum. My email is also listed on my profile if you're into that sort of thing.

interested Ruben,i've added it to my watch list

Sounds great but as you can surely appreciate, selecting the national team while racing on amateur for the first time does limit my time availability for any other projects for the current season. By next season not everything will be new to me and I should have more free time for other projects.

I appreciate that Astyn - The idea is its a little bit of silly fun that will take ZERO time for anyone participating. I would do all the reporting - You just race as normal and I will jut take you race time for your last race - which is available.
The idea is basically to find a means to build a bit of "gees" amount the African managers - I mean currently African managers only constitute 1.74% of all managers on GPro with ZAR managers being 64% of that. Also our nation cup points to managers is not great with Africa achieving 4.57pts per manager with the world average being 5.97pts - so I am hoping that things like this can get those numbers up.
Having said that - some individual countries in Africa have amazing ratios - like Gabon who average 23.73pt per manager and Ghana with 11.60 - so there is no lack of talent - just need to get the over all participation up.
Hope you will be keen to be involved - just need to say you are in and I will do ALL the work!

I was referring in terms of providing any sort of assistance setting it up. As far as participating, count me in once you get it started. Though I would count myself lucky if I finish this season with any points at all.

After the first race we're in 16th place with 10.4 points. Out of the 8 manages selected for the National Team, 5 are currently in the top 8.
The top 8 ZA managers thus far have an aggregate of 18 points which would have put us in 12th place.
No team changes allowed till the end of race 2.
