Yes there are prizes for each race, in the rookie groups the prize for winning a race is 8,000,000.00, for the second that minus 200,000.00, for each one behind the second minus 100,000.00 for position. There are also prizes for qualifying positions, you may see that here after your first race /br/EconomyHistory.asp?Show=History

Hi @Max Heiliger (R140) I suggest you read this section (and maybe the entire page): /gb/GPRORules.asp#5-finances
The "prizes" page you refer to is only about material prizes given to the managers (supporter credits for being champion, for example). Unfortunately, the "game rules" are hidden behind the "help" button, which has always felt strange to me with so much room in the header. Maybe a direct link to those, the FAQ and the Wiki would be more helpful.

Hello guys!
I have a question. If I started my career in 14/17 race, can't my pilot leave me after the end of season? I have contract with him for 17 races.

If his Overall is above 85 at the season reset, he will leave. If it's 85 or lower, he will stay.
If you want him to leave, you can hire a new driver before this one's contracts runs out. You will have to pay him for that (half of his total future salary of the contract) but you will have a new one this way. If you do it this season, your money will reset anyways.

See if the track have a medium, low, high level of use of fuel, and compare with others tracks that you already have run, and in case of doubt, always take more fuel. With time you can get more info of the tracks, and see others parameters that affect consumition of fuel

You need to finish in the top 4 at the end of the season to promote to the Amateur league

Hire a good pilot

This late in the season, especially, grab the best you can think of, and if they're still under 85 OA end of season, you get to keep 'em. Everything else will reset for next season when staying in Rookie.

Knocked Hard (R117) car parts are one of the biggest expenses in this game. You should only be upgrading if you don't think the part will get you through the race.
Separately, there's a policy in place in this game for managers to use their real names (which I think is what Sonny Long (R136) is alluding to!) - better to change now if you can.
The forums and help pages are really great for newcomers. Take a read through and ask any questions you cannot find answers for.
