hi all.... only just joined but got to grips with everything so far with help from the guides. Quite pleased with 8th on the grid for first time, but I dare say there was a bit of luck involved there.
Who's the guys to beat in our league this season?

That was a bad race for me. After the 2nd pits-stop i got behind some slow drivers and that ruined my race.
Im looking for a top-5 finish in Paul-Ricard. I hope it wont rain though...

Nothing destroyed your hope and you got your first point! :)
My stupid idea of putting 20L of fuel in the fourth box for a possible 3rd pits-stop, destroyed my race my race.

well barring anyone else still to qualify, i have got a reasonable starting position, no rain should fall to muck this race up, so i should get first point!!!

Btw, last season was much easier to get some points or a podium. This season R76 has some good managers and the competition is strong.
Anyway, im looking forward to get some points today.

Nikos, I think you are right, for me, since I hired a new driver 4 races ago, I am more competitive and also, I am getting more in tune with the various pit strategies

I can see that! Since you got that driver your qualify laps are very fast and you're doing really good in the race too.
The strategy is a "headache" for the next race at Monte Carlo. Lets hope that we'll have a good race there.

I had a thought about a risky strategy too, but i prefered a safe strategy.
I think it will be a very interesting race though.

but it's races like these that are far more interesting than the "dry all day" races we've had outside of paul ricard. i'm looking forward to tomorrow's race and what everyone has decided to do with their cars.

Starting on rains almost got all of the leaders in trouble at Portugal. But another good race.
And now Hungaroring... Another blistering qualifying by Mario. I'm starting to wonder if anyone else is going to touch the pole position any more this year.

I dont think so, it will be really hard to take a pole from Mario. I think he found a great driver.
Your driver is very good too, i had him in my shortlist before you take him. ;)
