Why? If you've got a phone with GPS, what else do you really need? Get the Strava app, and/or IPBike app...what more do you need? A heart rate monitor, speed&cadence sensor maybe, and a power meter if your flush with cash.

There's so much free software and apps out there, with bucketloads of detail, that you can get stuck in data analysis for hours on end if you're so inclined.
I use IPBike on my phone, Golden Cheetah on my laptop, and upload video onto Virb Edit. All of it is free. Cyclists don't pay for shit...not even road taxes lol.

IVs had fitness apps before where they track your distance by GPS but when the phone dies you can't do much about it usually.its good to have so much data at your fingertips anyway and I guess it helps everyone when there's variety of choice hey

How many times he won Tour, Giro or Vuelta? How many times he will in future?

5 time winner of Green Jersey at Tour de France in 5 presences.
You cant expect someone with his physique to fight for Yellow Jersey. Cycling is more than just climbers.

Chris Froome - 185cm, 69kg Peter Sagan - 183cm, 75kg
To win the tour is not enough to be just a great climber. You have to run good TT aswell. But to win the WC usually is enough to be a great sprinter.

To win the Tour is nowadays 95% climbing. And this year's WC was unnormally sprinter friendly. Usually you need a lot more. And still where was Kittel if all you need is great sprint?

Well, things changed a lot since Indurain times but still it's not 95% about climbing. We both know better climbers than Froome, no? But overall Chris is better almost always.

Yes, it is. There are no great TT'ers that survive the mountains anymore, since even the climbers can usually TT well enough nowadays (well J-Rod can't but he is retired now anyway) and then just drop TT'ers in mountains.
And I'm rather sceptic at least with the s behind climber. Quintana may be better especially on sadly very rare tough multi mountain stages, but that's pretty much it.

Peter is a badass this sport needs. I still have im front od my eyes his jump over Cancellara in one od this years Classics. Happy to see with the rainbow again. :)
TdF has very steady climbs and all of SKY riders know how to keep steady pace (Froome being a master of it) sonehow they are not doing that well in other grand tours
