While we wait until the final few managers accept/reject their contract offers (once that's done then the remaining 4 managers from last season will be offered another contract, presuming no-one has taken their previous team to manage) I have now finished setting up the new formulae.
I could use some help in testing it...for anyone who wants to, can you enter a random submission here (for the country code bit just put the name of the country you are managing for now; those will be sent to you at a later date):

- All those managers to confirm/select unmanaged teams if they wish

Final day for confirmations and then those who were in last season but didn't achieve their totals will be given their choice of teams to manage - and once they have all replied, then I'll put up the new thread :)

A few pre-season friendlies (I literally just paired people up with when they sent in) that we just have the scores and a tiny bit of detail for:
Portugal 0-0 Anguilla
Portugal pushed slightly harder in the opening 45 minutes, though in the 2nd half both teams seemed to settle for the pre-season draw...but again Portugal looked the slightly better side.
Turks & Caicos Islands 5-5 Singapore
An incredible match-up here sees both sides really attack heavily, but leave a significant amount of space in defence as a result! As such neither team are able to keep the other one out in a game that ebbed and flowed throughout!
Hong Kong 4-4 Turkey
Another close game, with Hong Kong perhaps the more measured in the 1st half - as they used Turkey's extreme attacking game against them to go in level at 2-2...before an incredibly even 2nd half where both teams push forward so much that they concede several goals in the process!

Well I would say that's pretty realistic actually - if both teams go for an uber-attacking formation then they will score and concede goals. Note that it's 5-5 and not 9-9 too :)

I think you can if your opponent uses 0 in defence and goalkeeping :P
